The Instituto Técnico de Estudios Superiores en Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (ITESMARENA) and the Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE) signed an important collaboration agreement that includes academic and research areas.
The rector of ITESMARENA, Dr. José Santiago Vásquez and the rector of UNICARIBE, Dr. Emilio Mínguez Torres agreed that this agreement is an opportunity to develop academic and research projects that will help build a sustainable future.
The agreement contemplates the development of continuing education programs, events and research of joint interest in key areas such as the environment, agriculture and sustainability. One of the main benefits will be received by the graduates of ITESMARENA’s Higher Technician in Environmental Management program. The Director of the program, Mr. Julián Camilo Peña, presented the validation framework that allows students to validate 15 months of training on their way to graduating with a degree in Environmental Management and Renewable Energies.
The agreement signing ceremony was attended by prominent academic authorities, professors, students and the Academic Council of ITESMARENA.
