On Saturday, April 12, the CAYEI-UNICARIBE Research Center and the Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management and Renewable Energy carried out an enriching roundtable simulation focused on the development of a public policy proposal on risk management in establishments.
This academic exercise brought together students from the Environmental Management career, who actively participated in the analysis and discussion of key strategies for prevention, preparedness and response to risks that may affect various types of establishments.
The activity was part of efforts to strengthen students’ critical and analytical skills in the area of risk management, a topic of vital importance for sustainability and institutional and community resilience.
The simulation was led by the director of the Environmental Management career, Julián Camilo Peña Bermúdez, who guided the students through a participatory and reflective process, encouraging strategic thinking and collaborative work around real proposals of social impact.
