Strategic relationship.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. – The aeronautical training center Tripulante VIP and the Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE) signed an educational cooperation agreement with the objective of strengthening the academic preparation of crew students, facilitating their insertion in the labor market and contributing to improve their quality of life. The agreement, promoted by the Chancellor of this university, Dr. José Alejandro Aybar M., establishes a strategic alliance aimed at expanding the comprehensive training opportunities of the participants, through programs that combine technical training with university academic support.

The signing of the agreement was led by the rector of UNICARIBE, Dr. Ricardo A. Ramírez Mendoza, and the CEO of Tripulante VIP, Alfredo Hernández, who highlighted the importance of the collaboration between the two institutions for the benefit of the professional development of students.

During the ceremony, held at the university’s headquarters, Rector Ramírez Mendoza expressed his satisfaction with the formalization of this alliance, highlighting the academy’s commitment to initiatives that promote quality education and access to new opportunities.

“We are fulfilling our educational promise to Dominican society by expanding the possibilities of our training programs in aeronautical education,” said Rector Ramirez. He also pointed out that “the aeronautical industry has a promising future and the country needs to have solid programs that will allow it to be competitive at a global level”.

UNICARIBE also offers a Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Management, focused on air transport logistics and socioeconomic, legal and operational aspects relevant to the sector, as well as basic navigation fundamentals. It also has an academic offer in business programs that will enrich the training proposal for VIP Crewmembers and vice versa.

Alfredo Hernández expressed his gratitude to UNICARIBE for the support provided to Tripulante VIP, while reaffirming the center’s commitment to academic excellence and the preparation of highly trained crew members.

“This partnership represents a significant step forward for our students, who will now have more tools for their professional development,” he said.

With this initiative, both entities consolidate their commitment to education and the development of human talent in the Dominican Republic, betting on quality training aligned with the demands of today’s labor market.

This training enables the student to make decisions in the organization of airports and associated companies. It provides future professionals with the essential knowledge and skills necessary for a variety of occupations. They can perform in roles such as aerodrome director, aviation consultant, airline planning and organization manager, air navigation director, investment and cost manager, among others.
