The event brought together hundreds of young people who were able to connect directly with more than 7,000 vacancies available in more than 70 national and international companies, covering sectors such as tourism, technology, services, energy and sustainability. The event included job orientation spaces, workshops on soft skills and personalized counseling for the preparation of resumes and job interviews.
During the opening ceremony, representatives of the Ministry of Labor stressed the importance of strengthening ties between academia and the productive sector, while university authorities underscored UNICARIBE’s commitment to the professional development of its students and graduates.

“Universities play a crucial role in improving employability. In addition to offering quality academic training, they are an essential bridge between education and the world of work,” said a UNICARIBE spokesperson.
The university reaffirmed its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in particular SDG 8: “Decent work and economic growth”, which promotes sustained, inclusive and sustainable growth, ensuring fair working conditions and equal opportunities for all.
