During the meeting, they discussed lines of collaboration that allow UCJC students to live academic, professional and training experiences in the Dominican Republic -especially in the Eastern region- through UNICARIBE Punta Cana as a space for institutional articulation. Among the topics discussed was the possibility for UCJC students to carry out internships, training practices and immersion experiences linked to the educational, social, business and community context of the area.
“This alliance opens doors for European students to experience the educational and social reality of the Eastern Dominican Republic, and also for UNICARIBE students to live this experience at our university,” said Ignacio Sell Trujillo, who emphasized the reciprocal nature of the collaboration.
This visit is a continuation of the dialogue between UNICARIBE, Camilo José Cela University and other international actors, with the aim of promoting academic mobility, the exchange of experiences and the development of professional skills among universities in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.
With this meeting, UNICARIBE Punta Cana reaffirms its commitment to expand its academic projection and contribute to the educational and professional development of the Eastern region from a global, collaborative and relevant vision.
