The students of the Journalism career of the Universidad del Caribe lived an enriching academic experience by interacting with the Mobile Unit of the newspaper El Nuevo Diario. The activity was led by the Dean of the career, Dr. Edith Moya, Cubilete, together with Juan A. Mejía, professor of the career, who guided the young people in this practical exercise.
During the meeting, the students had the opportunity to learn about the operation of the Mobile Unit, a space that reproduces the dynamics of journalistic coverage and production in real time. This initiative is part of the student internships promoted by the university, with the aim of strengthening professional skills and bringing future journalists closer to real work scenarios.
The interaction allowed participants to understand the importance of immediate information, teamwork and the use of technological tools applied to modern journalism. With this type of activities, the Universidad del Caribe reaffirms its commitment to offer a comprehensive training, directly linked to the media and the current demands of the sector.
