On June 19, in the city of Loja, the Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE) and the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL) formalized an important inter-institutional cooperation agreement. This agreement aims to promote joint academic mobility projects, both face-to-face and virtual, in addition to strengthening collaborative research between the two institutions.

The signing ceremony was carried out by the rectors of both institutions, Dr. Emilio Mínguez, rector of UTPL, and Dr. Santiago Acosta Aide, rector of UTPL. UTPL executives and collaborators also participated in this significant step towards academic and research collaboration between the two universities.

This agreement represents an opportunity to enhance academic cooperation and strengthen ties between the institutions, benefiting students, teachers and the academic community in general.
