The Rector of this university was invited by the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL) and the Association for Quality Accreditation in Higher Education (EQUAA) of Ecuador, to participate as a speaker at the XI International Forum on Accreditation EQUAA 2025.

The central theme of the event was “The impact of Artificial Intelligence in the training of higher education students”. This important forum was held from June 19 to 21, 2025 at the UTPL headquarters.

During his intervention, Dr. Mínguez presented the panel entitled “Building responsible and sustainable educational institutions”. He shared ideas and experiences on how to develop institutions committed to responsible progress and sustainability, promoting policies that foster inclusion, innovation and social commitment. He also addressed how emerging technologies are transforming education.

This event was a great academic success, bringing together experts, researchers and industry leaders to analyze and discuss technological innovations and their impact on higher education.
